He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Oscar, Sr. and Mary Etta Davis Springer; his great grandchild Turner Ray Wilbanks; and his siblings, Louella Butler, Bessie Hamner, Sanford Springer, Dock Springer and Jesse Springer.
He is survived by: his wife Jane McGuire Springer; his daughter Michelle Cabler (Mark); his grandchildren, Alyssa Cabler Wilbanks (Cody), William "Will" Cabler (Daisy) and John Cade Cabler; and his great grandchild Palmer Wilbanks.
