He is survived by: his wife Sherri Bailey Blackwell; his children, Chad Blackwell (Denise) of Orange Beach, Alabama, Cindy Hinote (Tommy) of Northport, Alabama, Justin Blackwell (Nicole) of Foley, Alabama and Christopher Blackwell (Robin) of Orange Beach, Alabama.; and his siblings, Lynn Miller, Bernice "Bunny" Munoz, Shannon Longcrier, RoxAnne Safiran and Walter Blackwell.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Foley (221 N Alston St, Foley, AL 36535). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
