She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernis Forrest and Freida Niaoma Dobbs (Richmond); her husband John Robert Shelby; and her siblings, James Naylor and Marjorie Jones.
She is survived by: her son Dan Shelby (Carla) of Foley; her grandchildren, Caitlin Cates (Tim), Joshua Shelby, Jonathan Shelby and Joseph Shelby; and her great grandchildren, Zayden and Emma Cates.
