He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie "Bud" Davis and Fronie Brown Davis; his grandson Justin Davis; and his siblings, Claudine Bishop, Lavada Catrett, Catherine "Khaki" Nolte, Eugene Davis and Virgil Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam "Mimi" Davis of Foley; his children, Charles "Chuck" Davis-Foley (Donna), John "Bo" Davis-Foley (D'att), Patricia Daniel-Foley (Tom) and Jessie Collins-Foley; his sisters, Edith Powell-Fairhope (Lester), Judy Burkett-Fairhope and Diane Devine-Bay Minette; his sister-in-law Katherine Davis-Bell Forest; his nieces, Irene Comalander, Jeanette Burgin and Debbie Hall; his grandchildren, Chip Davis (Sandy), Brandon Nelson, Nicole Davis Brown, Brittany Wilson (Brent) and Hannah Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Piper, Levyn-Rae, Kimber Grace, Emmitt, Corinne, Lathan Davis, Hannah, Pearl and Scarlett. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, honoring Charlie's compassionate legacy of caring for others.
