David Frank Crowe Obituary

David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reid Crowe and Inez Crowe; his son Steve; his grandson Reid; and his great grandchild Grant.

He is survived by: his significant other Melba Parker; and his children, David, Cindy (Allen) and Reid (Dean). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sunrise Memorial Park (3013 Mobile Rd, Greenville, AL 36037).

But perhaps his greatest contribution to the game came later, when he coached each of his boys in baseball.
