We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Denzil Lee Sands of Foley, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Sands and Julia Sands; and his brothers, Joseph, Paul and George Simon.
He is survived by: his children, Allison Sands and Denny Sands (Ana); his granddaughters, Olivia Sands and Sophia Sands; and his siblings, Eva Garlow (Dean), Ava Whealdon and Steve Simon.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home - Marietta (408 Front St, Marietta, OH 45750). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Denzil's memory to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
