She was predeceased by: her parents, John Castle and Mattie Lala Holley Sharpless; her former husband Dr. Harold Tennant; her husband Clifford J. Cotter; her siblings, Jewell Grace Godwin, Geraldine Sally Findley, Roy Castle Sharpless, Lala Maxine Bell and John Edward "Johnny" Sharpless; and her sons-in-law, Dr. Charles Miles Berry and Melvin Floyd Spivey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Tennant Berry of Portland, OR, Susan Tennant Bachelor (John) of Comanche, OK, Sandra Tennant Spivey of Auburn, AL and Sally Tennant Desarro (Peter) of Orange Beach, AL.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home (1322 S Main St, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel (1322 S Main St, Atmore, AL 36502).
