She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Kemp and Essie Kemp; her husbands, Charles Byron LaGasse and Howard Rhodes; and her sister Evelyn Mitchell.
She is survived by: her son Charles Edward LaGasse; her daughter-in-law Leslie LaGasse of Concord, MA; her nephews, Jimmie Mitchell of Fairhope, AL and Jerry Mitchell of Watumka, AL; her grandson Evan LaGasse; and her great grandchildren, Owen LaGasse and Caleb LaGasse of Carlsbad, CA..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pine Rest Funeral Home (16541 US-98, Foley, AL 36535).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Foley First Baptist Church.
