She was predeceased by: her husband Sonny Chappell; her former husband Gene W. Austin; her parents, Nicholas G. Baggett and Francis Darley Baggett; her children, Ed Wayne Austin of Marietta and Vikki Cooper of Foley, Alabama; and her siblings, Ed G. Baggett, Jullian Baggett, Allen Baggett, Nettie B. Schultz and Anne B. Ready.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy J. Shoemaker of Santa Fe, Texas, Kathy B. Saxon of Elberta, Alabama and Christopher A. Austin of Crystal Lake, Illinois.; and her siblings, Christine Cranford and Nicholas G. Baggett Jr. of Plymouth, Michigan.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
