He was predeceased by: his former wife Frances Neal; his parents, Pascal Neal and Irene Neal; his sister Lingo Campbell (W. G.); his granddaughter Carrie Klingler; his in-laws, J. D., Arvie Wood, Sam Plaia and Jearl Wood; and his nephews, Bill Campbell and Sammy Plaia.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Klingler (Kevin) and Steve Neal (Joanne); his grandchildren, Sarah Klingler, Jimmy (Lindsey), Wesley Neal and Lexy Sanford (Mitch); his sisters-in-law, Joan Wood, Denise Plaia and Xan Simmons (Barry); and his wife Pat Sherman. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alabama Baptist Children Home, Post Office Box 1805, Decatur, Alabama 35602.
