She was predeceased by: her former husband Carl Edwin Fowler; her brothers, Edward and Sonny Johnston; and her great grandchildren, Karlee Taylor, Hope and Jason Hopper.

She is survived by: her husband Clinton Whittington; her daughter Darlene Hopper (Sam); her siblings, Wylene Buchanan, Shirley Bruce (Johnny) and Hugo Johnston (Rachael); her sister-in-law Joyce Johnston; her nieces and nephews, Chris Whittington, Sandy Walker (Vince) and Caren Thorne; her grandchildren, Kimberly Taylor (Bradley), Christopher Hopper (Pamela), Joshua Hopper, Sara Whittington, Noah Whittington, Chase Whittington, Zach Whittington, Austin Cramer, Hunter Rodriguez, Faith Stogner, Heather Walker and Hailey Walker; and her great grandchildren, Hailey and Kaitlyn Hopper. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
