With sadness, we share the passing of Mark Anthony Hellmich (Foley, Alabama). Mark, born on February 23, 1959, passed away on November 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joe Hellmich, Sr.; his brothers, Joe Hellmich, Jr. and Tim Hellmich; his son Bryan Reed; his nephew Joel Steigerwald; and his niece Xanny Hellmich Emke.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Marshall Hellmich (Kaye); his mother Georgia Daniels Hellmich; his stepmother Esther Hellmich; his siblings, Sue Hellmich Steigerwald and Dan Hellmich (Meg); his granddaughter Ally Reed; and his aunt Mildred Daniels Runyan. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home (2551 S McKenzie St, Foley, AL 36535). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Organization (alz.org) to support ongoing research and efforts to combat this disease.
