With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Martha Carolyn Ryan of Foley, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Martha left this world on October 21, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Cletus J. Ryan, Sr.; her parents, Lester Brown and Lurley Brown; her daughter Cheryl Wise; and her sister Brenda Waltman.
She is survived by: her children, Coral Gosa (Jeffery), Jay Ryan (Gail) of Bon Secour, AL., Carolyn Ryan (James Harris) of Lillian, AL. and Collette Hall; her adoptive daughter Victoria Reding (Lamar); and her brother Cecil Starns of Foley, AL.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, her family and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Foley Chapel (2551 S McKenzie St, Foley, AL 36535). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
