It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlene Lindsey in Foley, Alabama, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Merlene's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She is survived by: her spouse Bengie Lindsey (Merlene); her cousin Brenda Collins Campbell of Catlettsburg, KY; and her close friend Madeleine Williams (Henry) of Nicholasville, KY. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Prestonsburg Church of Christ (88 KY-1428, Prestonsburg, KY 41653). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Davidson Memorial Gardens (US-23, Ivel, KY 41642).
