He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto V. Sowers and Charlet Sowers (Patterson); his brothers, Louis and Charles Pullins; and his son Adam Michael Sowers.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Sowers of Gulf Shores, AL.; his sons, Andrew and Alexander Sowers of Gulf Shores, AL; his grandchildren, Addison and Auden Sowers of Gulf Shores, AL; and his siblings, Susan Tex (Ron) of Macomb, IL and Patrick Sowers of Belleville, IL..
