He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Atkins and June Turner; his stepfather Ira Turner; his sister Leigh Anne; and his brother-in-law Bob Boyinton.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Sowell (Don) of Foley, AL, Ricki Jean Hardin (Jason) of Grenada, MS and Rachel Hart (Brooks) of Orange Beach, AL; his stepdaughters, Christina Rogers and Heather Cooley; his sisters, Gwynne Presley (Wayne) of Orange Beach, AL, Kimberly Williams of Foley, AL and Fourteen; and his great grandchild Many.
