She was predeceased by: her parents, W. B. Stokes and Ellie Mae Stokes (Powell); her husband John T. Halstead; her son Jonas P. Halstead; her siblings, Eve, Lyna and Roger; and her brother-in-law Philip Halstead.
She is survived by: her son John B. Halstead; her daughter-in-law Amanda Holland Halstead; her grandchildren, John C. Halstead, Scarlett G. Halstead and Hulan S.; and her sister Reva Ward (Donnice).
