It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Edward Hodo of Foley, Alabama, born in Greenville, Mississippi, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Richard Hodo; his uncle James Edward Hodo; his aunts, Kathy Hodo Weeks, Linda Hodo Wade and Carol York; his grandmothers, Margie Lee Hodo and Shirley Chandler Caldwell; and his cousins, James Edward Hodo and Tammy Marie Vick.

He is survived by : his daughter Lainey Lynn Hodo of Gulf Shores; his mother Catherine Hodo of Foley; his brothers, Ricky Hodo of Foley and Jody Hodo (Alycia) of Orange Beach; his son Trenton Stafford (Hannah) of Spanish Fort; his nephew Kane Hodo (Bailey) of Summerdale; his nieces, Mikayla Hodo of Foley, Ava and Addy Hodo of Orange Beach; his aunts, Mary Elizabeth Hodo and Judy Hodo; his uncle Randy Weeks; and his cousins, Roy Wade, Candy Caldwell, Lisa Hodo, Brent Hodo, Alex Vick, Barry Vick, Randy Weeks Jr. and Christopher Weeks. He is also survived by his loving family and countless friends.

A memorial service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Pine Rest Funeral Home (16541 US-98, Foley, AL 36535). A reception was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the The Cove Bar & Grill (131 Cove Ave, Gulf Shores, AL 36542).
