He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Pearl Stokes; his daughter Debbie Stokes; his grandson Christopher Stokes Waller; and his parents, Fred Stokes and Fannie Stokes.
He is survived by: his children, Rex Stokes (Selina) and Diane Burkett (Terry); his grandchildren, Laura House (Chris) and Wesley Burkett (Payton); and his great grandchild Eli House. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
