She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Smith and Mabel Sizemore Smith; and her sister Sheila Diane Smith. She is survived by: her children, Leigh Ann Neill (Bobby) and Scott Rice (Allison) of Fort Mitchell; her grandchildren, Katy Calvert (Nathan), Natalie Neill, Jared Neill, Lucas Neill, Karie Hinderliter (Jeffery), Megan Rice and Nicholas Rice; her great grandchild Lizzie Calvert; her sister Rebecca "Susan" Smith; and her nephew Grant Dudley.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
