He is survived by: his stepchildren, Sandra McMillian, Gary Allemand (Holly) and Charles "Nunny" Morvant; his siblings, Beverly Villarreal and Terry Paul Melancon; and his granddaughter Amanda Allemand. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
