It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Boyd Higgins of Fort Payne, Alabama, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvin Boyd Higgins to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Higgins and Gladys Bennett Higgins; and his brother Jimmy Higgins. He is survived by: his son Chris Higgins (Liz); his sister Laurie Falkenberry (Guy); his siblings-in-law, Gary Wayner and Carol Higgins; and his grandchildren, Evelyn and Paisley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
