She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry F. Abbott; her parents, Cecil Gilbert and Pauline Gilbert; her brother Wayne Gilbert; and her great grandchild Mia Grace Debter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Felicia "DeeDee" Debter (Tim) and Lucretia "Sissi" Phillips (Keith); her siblings, Gwenda Lynne Henderson (Roger) and Gary Paul Gilbert (Linda); her grandchildren, Brooke Chandler Durham, Bryan Debter, Tessa Collett, Mallory Debter Williams and Drew Smith; and her great grandchildren, Tyde Debter, Navy Laney, Palin Debter, Julian Debter, Nevaeh Debter, Karley Craft Barker, Mattie Prewett Blevins, Pacey Cooper and Kimber Peppers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
