He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Burt and Edith Burt of Colbran. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Marretta Burt; his daughter Brandi Burt Justice (Brett); his grandchildren, Brynna, Aiden and Cooper Justice; his siblings, Randy Burt (Carolyn) and Glenda Shaw; and his children, Rachel Ellis Denton, Aiden Justice, Brynna Justice, Cooper Justice, Dallas Burt, Dwight Ellis, Jason Ellis and Jeff Lewis. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, & Cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Burt Chapel-Fort Payne (2100 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Burt Chapel-Fort Payne Funeral Time (2100 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Fischer Cemetery.
