He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Stallings Williams and Louis Williams, Jr.; his siblings, Charles Edward Williams and Brenda Gass; his grandparents, Luke and Hazel Stallings; and his stepfather Charles Clements.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Williams; his children, Brian Smith (Deborah), Angie Smith (Jason), Chad Williams (Christy Noojin) and Kevin Hulgan (Teri Farmer); his sister Wanda Payne (Billy); his grandchildren, Kali, Kyli, Paige, Kohen and Emma; and his great grandchildren, Norah and Judah. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family is accepting flowers or memorial contributions may be made to the Dekalb Animal Adoption Center.
