He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hixon and Nellie Hixon; and his siblings, Jack Hixon and Harriett Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Haas Hixon; his daughters, Carri Turner, Holly Hixon (Brad Roberts) and Hayden Simmons (Kevin); his grandchildren, Sydney Hixon Palmer, Jacee Turner, Jayden Blackwell, Jack Riley Blackwell, Corian Simmons, Cadie Simmons and Micah Simmons; his daughter LeAnn Bain; and his pet Bougie.
