He is survived by: his son David Burt (Tanya Wofford); his grandchildren, Allie Burt (Jeremy Graham) and Levi Burt; his great grandchildren, GraceyMae, Harper and Draven; and his sister Jean Stirk (Harold).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burt Chapel-Fort Payne Funeral Time (2100 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
