Pendergrass of Fort Payne, Alabama, who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Pendergrass and Gurdie Pendergrass; his brothers, Raymond Pendergrass (Magdelene) and Claude Pendergrass; and his brother-in-law Jack Goodwin.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Rowell (Jeff), Penny Hughes (Scotty) and Trent Pendergrass; his siblings, Peggy Goodwin, Sybil Rudder (Joe), R. J. Pendergrass (Gaynell) and Ralph Pendergrass; his grandchildren, Taylor Rowell (Sophia), Ty Rowell (Allie), Tate Hughes (Sara Beth), Alex Allen (Emory), Dylan Hughes, Ashley Hughes and Jojo Hughes; and his sister-in-law Lora Dean Pendergrass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kirk Memorial Gardens (2687 E Main St, Powell, AL 35986).
