It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hertha Lynn Neill of Fort Payne, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Neill and Harriet Neill; her son Chris Steffek; her husband Bob Davis; and her brother Edwin Neill II.
She is survived by: her children, Carl James Steffek III (Jessica), Stephen Neill Steffek, Stacey Steffek (Christopher Johnson) and Nathaniel Steffek; her grandchildren, Heather, Brandi (Josh), Cody, Ashlynn, Robyn, Ron, Courtney, Stephanie (Alex), Mac and Kelsey; her great grandchildren, Gabby, Madyson, Evie, Kyleigh, Morgan, Jaxson, Aubrie, Camryn, Saylor, Luke, Kody, Jessika, Jasmine, Breeanna, Liam, Benny and Caroline; her nieces and nephews, Laurie and Trey; Abner Neill (Sharon).
