Jerry W. Burt Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 16, 2025, at the age of 79, Jerry W. Burt of Fort Payne, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Callie Sue Ashley Burt; his parents, Ward Burt and Pauline Burt; and his brother Stanley Burt. He is survived by: his children, Michael Burt (Heather) and Melissa Harrison (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Carson, Sawyer, Marleigh Burt, Nathan (Abby), Kimberly, Caleb and David Harrison; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Burt, Geana Johnson and Jack Ashley (Christine). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Methodist Church Building Legacy fund, 206 Grand Avenue SW, Fort Payne, AL 35967.
