He is survived by: his wife Jan Thompson Cochran; his daughter Jill Johnston (Bob); his grandchildren, Joshua Johnston (Sarah) and Abigail Hunt (Caleb); his siblings, Ray Cochran, Sylvia Drumm, Mary Lois Wadford, Dot Fletcher, Joyce Ramy and Ruthie Merrill; Samuel Johnston.
