He was predeceased by: his father John Daniel; his son David "Dabo" Kuykendall; his sister Francis Wooten; and his granddaughter Jessica Kuykendall. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Whitten Kuykendall; his children, Bobby Kuykendall (Stephanie), Andrea Smith (Chris) and Wil Kuykendall; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Kuykendall, Blane Kuykendall, Haven Smith and Kenlea Smith. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
