With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joni Meadows Posey of Fort Payne, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her father Steve Meadows. She is survived by: her sons, Davey Posey (Macy) and Austin Posey; her grandchildren, Serenity Posey, Luvayne Posey and Piper Michelle Posey; her siblings, Joshua Meadows, Justin Meadows and Janet Cothran; her boyfriend Brandon "Bubba" Graham; and her uncle James Lindsey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (3801 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (3801 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Walkers Chapel Cemetery (1411 Co Rd 118, Fort Payne, AL 35967).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations towards the funeral expenses.
