Linda Royce Steele Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Royce Steele of Fort Payne, Alabama, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence James Steele; her daughter Patricia Ann; her brothers, Earnest Ashley and Raymond Ashley; her grandson Thomas Devon; her parents, Rev. John Austin and Doris Ashley; and her son-in-law Jerrod Laws.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Brozio (Russ), Angie Laws, Tracy Ledford (Michael), Lawrence Steele, Jr. (Crystal) and Thomas Steele; and her siblings, Bobby Ashley, Austin Ashley, Brenda Hockaday and Dorothy Whidden. She is also survived by 14 grandsons and 2 granddaughters; 7 great grandsons and 3 great granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Perry Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Walker's Chapel Cemetery.
