He was predeceased by: his father Hershel Melvin Black; and his sister Carolyn Peek. He is survived by: his children, Nina Turner, Chris Black and Ladonna Stonbraker; his sisters, Donna Davis and Charlene Wooten; and his grandchildren, Cody Turner, Dustin Turner, Chelsea Turner, Ashley Black, Braxton Black, Brittany Black, Damon Stonbraker and Alan Stonbraker. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
