He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Guffey and Mary Singleton Guffey; and his siblings, Barnard Guffey, Alfred Guffey, Harvin Guffey, Evelyn Eckert and Eleanor Baker.
He is survived by: his daughter Cassandra Guffey; his brothers, Richard Guffey and Ralph Guffey; and his grandchildren, Sierra Abbarno, Eric Pope and Lateisha Lukens. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
