She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mobile and Lola Shankles Childers; her husband Orren Smothers; her sons, Charles Smothers and Rickey Smothers; her great grandchild Collier Foote; and her siblings, Jewel Whitehurst, Juanita Galloway, Willie Childers and R. Childers.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Smothers (Phyllis), Kenny Smothers (Lisa Puckett), Phyllis Morgan (Keith) and Mark Smothers (Charlene); her grandchildren, Dustin Foote, Kyle Smothers, Hannah Patterson (Kalwin), Sarah Grizzard (Wesley), Will Smothers, Noah Smothers, Jennifer Morgan and Cody Morgan (Naomi); and her great grandchildren, Brayden Smothers, Jorja Foote, Max Smothers, Mylah Patterson, Ellis Patterson, Emellia Morgan and Bryce Grizzzard.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981).
