Rex H. Westmoreland Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex H. Westmoreland of Fort Payne, Alabama, who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Westmoreland and Rowena Posey Westmoreland; his brother Ned I. Westmoreland; and his brother-in-law Rev. Fred Higgins. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Faye Faulkner Westmoreland; his children, Sherry Gulledge (David), Shelia Kerby (Chip), Rex H. Westmoreland, II and John Westmoreland (Pam); and his siblings, Edward Westmoreland (LeEarl) and Phiba Higgins. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-children, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
