He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ray Jones and Frances Maxine Light Jones; and his niece Chelsea Gilliland. He is survived by: his close friend Carol Cannon; his children, Brandon Vanco (Jennifer) and Whitney Anderson (Nick); his siblings, Robert Walter Jones, Angela Lane, Pamela Jackson and Carolyn Gill; his grandchildren, Cayden Hutcheson, Elissa Hutcheson, Alexandria Vanco, Brenden Vanco, Mason Vanco and Sarah Fowler; and his great grandchildren, Paisley Thomas and A'Vianna Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
