It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Duke of Fort Payne, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Peggy Duke; his parents, Orbra Duke and Gertie Mae Duke; his son-in-law Guy Waller; and his sister Jeanette Bell.

He is survived by : his children, Debra Ussery (Billy), Jeanie Waller and Alan Duke (Monica); his sister Reba Russell; his grandchildren, Brandon Ussery (Brittany), Chase Duke (Lucy), Jake Waller (Amber), Ali Moses (Tom), Chris Waller and Brian Waller; and his great grandchildren, Lettie, Colton, Keagan, Auron, Elsie, Nola, Eli, Broady, Brinley and Alyssa.
