He was predeceased by: his father Dr. James A. Botta, Jr.; and his brother Robert Brian Botta. He is survived by: his mother Jarilyn Botta Bailey; his daughters, Rachel Kay Botta and Holly Joy Balakin; the mother of his children Trish B. Botta; and his siblings, Vincent A. Botta, John Busey Botta, Deryl T. Botta and Sheryl A. Abreu.
