With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Benjamin Douglas Williams (Fruitdale, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Dorothy Williams; and his parents, Clarence Williams and Jamae Williams. He is survived by : his children, Benny Williams (Jill) and Brooke Knapp (Jon); his grandchildren, Keith Williams (Katie), Chase Knapp, Karleigh Sullivan (Johnathan), Shyla Williams and Kelcey Knapp; his great grandchild Ellis Williams; and his siblings, Asalene Baggett, Artis Mae Lankford, Shirley Brewer, Troy Luke Williams, Alton Williams (Gloria) and Bobby Williams (Lillie Dee Freeman).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the South Oak Grove Baptist Church (824 Firetower Rd, Fruitdale, AL 36539). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the Macedonia Cemetery.
