With sadness, we share the passing of Jimmy Laminack of Fruithurst, Alabama. Jimmy, born on October 1, 1933, passed away on August 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Benjamin "Cotton" Laminack and Venice Wiggins Laminack of Muscadine, Alabama.; his wife Mary Jo Thompson Laminack; his brothers, Raymond Laminack and Fred Laminack; and his sister-in-law Sandra Laminack.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Laminack (Darla), Lester Laminack (Steven Queen) and Amanda Hendrix (Blake); his grandchildren, Wendy Cash (Bobby), Matthew Laminack (Lindsey), Zachary Laminack (Cindy Flowers), Ashleigh Plagemann (Greg) and Andrew Wood (Cristina); and his great grandchildren, Rachel Perry, Cade Shubert, Callaway Shubert, Will Laminack, Luke Laminack, Everette Laminack, Harper Wood and Logan Wood.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Living Word Family Church.
