She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Bell and Roberta Pilkington Bell; her siblings, Judy Bell Merrymon and Phillip Bell; her daughter-in-law Tammy Hallman Nelson; and her great grandchild Allen Veasey.
She is survived by: her husband James "Peanut" Nelson; and her children, Howard Nelson (Vicki), Cameron Nelson (Tammy) and Darlene Yarbrough (Shane). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
