She was predeceased by: her husband H. B. Franklin; her daughters, Janice Singletary and Kathy Dunaway; her stepdaughter Lena Loftis; her son James Durden; her grandson Charles Dunaway; and her sister Brenda.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Durden, Lester Durden (Nora) and Ronald Durden; and her stepchildren, Mark Franklin (Bonita) and Donna Duren (David). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
