He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge Hopper and Mary Hopper. He is survived by: his wife Clara Hopper; his brothers, Harry Hopper (Cathy) and Jerry Hopper (Michelle); and his friends, Robert and Carol Hays. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews as well as many other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Community Cemetery (300 Oak Grove Rd, Horton, AL 35980).
