We are sad to announce that, on February 26, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Iris Lynne Melton of Fultondale, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid adieu to Iris' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Iris has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Lee and Ila Dean Brown Melton; her siblings, Howard, Ruth, Katherine, Faye Dwynell and Randall; her significant other Toni Walker; and her son Matthew Walker. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
