He was predeceased by: his father David "Cooney" Roberson, Sr.; and his grandparents, Hobert McGinnis, Hobert Roberson, Eula Benefield, Frank and Agnes Grimes.
He is survived by: his father Janey Roberson Grimes; his children, Trey, Tyce Roberson and Tagan Roberson; his sister Jana Childers (Tyler); his stepbrother Tyler Grimes; his nephews, Stetson Childers and Memphis Grimes; his niece Joplin Grimes; his grandmother Martha McGinnis; and the mother of his children Maranda Leonard.
