He was predeceased by: his father Joe Windell Rice; his brother Archie Rice; and his stepsiblings, Rickey Stephens and Tommie Akins. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Rice; his children, Shasta Rice, Donyell Rice (Casey), Nathaniel Rice, Jared Rice and Marina Talley; his stepmother Margaret Rice; his brother Guy Rice (Phyllis); and his stepsiblings, David Stephens, Mike Stephens and Toni Wheeler. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
