Amanda Fowler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2025, at the age of 89, Amanda Fowler of Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald C. Fowler; her granddaughter Laura Winters Buff; and her parents, Alex Robert Simpson and Theresa K Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Lydia Winters Buff (Larry), Cynthia Campbell (Steve), Felicia Butt (Allan), Maria Johnston (Darrell) and Gerald C Fowler Jr.; and her brothers, John Simpson and Alex Simpson (Sunny). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rainbow Memorial Gardens (Rainbow City, AL 35906).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Collinsville Presbyterian Church in Collinsville, Alabama and Dauphin Island Methodist Church in Dauphin Island, Alabama.
